Final Thoughts from the Texas Hospital Association Conference of 2020

Date published: March 2, 2020

Cindy Hayes and Kelly King share their highlights about the wonderful experience at THA 2020.

“THA was an excellent conference overall. It provided us the opportunity to network with 400 hospital executives throughout the great state of Texas. My takeaway from the conference is that hospitals from rural settings to Level 1 trauma were represented. Having the opportunity to meet and speak one-on-one with executives from different clinical settings is both informative and invaluable. The venue was extremely inviting, which allowed for open engagement. My highlight was Kelly and I having lunch one day, and the gentleman sitting across the aisle from us ordered this amazing looking dessert. I, of course (being the shy one) …asked, “what in the world is that?” Well, he proceeded to tell us, and it was definitely an ICE BREAKER!” -Cindy Hayes, Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

“I found the THA to be one of the best conferences that we have attended to date. Wonderful location, great food, booth location was excellent, and we met with many hospital executives and had a good amount of foot traffic. From a connectivity standpoint, THA really encourages the attendees to visit with the vendors, and even had a panel FOR the vendors to talk with the CEOS in a Question and Answer session! THA was very interactive and a total success in my book. We will attend next year.” -Kelly King, Vice President of Client Relations
